"This is an admonition God’s Church has made for decades, and now we are starting to see why. “The Temple Mount Institute has filed suit in its fight for the right to sacrifice a sheep on the Temple Mount prior to Passover, as commanded in the Torah.” Citing equal access rights to the Temple Mount, the Institute notes discriminatory actions by the Israeli police. Although the Temple Mount Institute will likely not be granted the opportunity to offer sacrifices on the Temple Mount prior to the Passover, there is increasing pressure to allow equal access to worship on the Temple Mount. As America appears to be curtailing its relationship with Israel, the EU and the Catholic Church are “building” their relationships with Israel.

One of the clear signs of the end of the age, indicating Christ’s imminent return, is the cessation of Temple sacrifices. The sacrifices will apparently cease half-way through a seven-year treaty between many nations, and will be involved in triggering the beginning of the Great Tribulation (Daniel 9:27; 12:11).

In order for sacrifices to cease, they must first begin—and events appear to be moving in this direction!

'Obama' Think-Tank: Israel Should Cede Jerusalem Sovereignty

A think tank which is arguably the most influential in Washington is proposing an “interim” neutral administration to govern Jerusalem instead of Israel.

The Center for American Progress (CAP), headquartered just three blocks from the White House in Washington, is regarded as one of the most influential think tanks in the city, if not the most influential... some of the group's recommendations were adopted by Obama while he was still president-elect...

Four weeks ago, CAP held a panel discussion based on the premise that the Old City of Jerusalem is the main impediment in finding a solution to the Israel-Arab problem in the Holy Land. Michael Bell, a former Canadian Ambassador to Jordan, Egypt and Israel, presented a plan entitled the Jerusalem Old City Initiative. The plan does not call for the internationalization of Jerusalem -- but is not far off from that. It recommends that both Israel and a future state of Palestine appoint a third-party administrator that would run and police the city.

EU urges Netanyahu not to abandon two-state solution

European Union diplomats on Monday urged the next Israeli government not to abandon the two-state solution as the goal of the Middle East peace process, as coalition talks in Israel continued.


"I think we could have a rough start but we need to move ahead with the peace process because the two-state solution road is narrowing and we can't take the luxury to wait," said the Czech Republic's Europe Minister Alexander Vondra ahead of a meeting with EU foreign ministers in Brussels.


...Sweden's foreign minister, Carl Bildt, said that the EU should push Netanyahu not to enter into a coalition which would call the two-state solution into question.


"I think it's very important that we send a strong signal that that is not going to be acceptable," he said.


EU officials also urged Israel to re-open border crossings into the Gaza Strip, with Bildt saying that "reconstruction without ending the siege is useless."
