Expose: The Vatican Wants to Lay its Hands on Jerusalem

“Peace negotiations in the Middle East must tackle the issue of the status of the holy sites of Jerusalem”, Cardinal Jean-Louis Tauran, head of the Vatican’s Council for Interreligious Dialogue, declared several days ago in Rome.

The Vatican’s former foreign minister asked to place some Israeli holy places under Vatican authority, alluding to the Cenacle on Mount Zion and the garden of Gethsemane at the foot of the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem.

The first site also houses what is referred to as King David’s tomb.

“There will not be peace if the question of the holy sites is not adequately resolved”, Tauran said...

Danny Ayalon, Israel’s deputy foreign minister, declared that Israel might consider giving the Vatican “a greater role” in operating the sites. In the last weeks, the Roman Catholic Church’s authorities increased their political initiatives for Catholic control over some sites in Jerusalem.

Raising the debt ceiling was sold as a way of guaranteeing the U.S. credit rating. It had the opposite effect, which makes sense to anyone who understands credit. Take a family with a median household income around $50,000. If they spend $85,000 a year and have debt at $300,000 and growing, it’d be foolish to let them borrow more because they don’t have the income to pay it back. Raising the debt ceiling ignored this reality. Then, the Obama administration immediately demonstrated its utter lack of creditworthiness by blowing 60 percent of the initial $400 billion increase in one day, the largest single-day accumulation of debt in U.S. history.

The White House blames the George W. Bush administration for every economic woe, but the numbers speak for themselves...

The Standard & Poor’s ratings downgrade is only the beginning. Mr. Obama is blithely passing the buck. At a Wednesday fundraiser, he refused to own up to his responsibility for the economic calamity America is facing, saying “because we were inheriting so many challenges, we’re not even halfway there yet. When I said, ‘change we can believe in,’ I didn’t say ‘change we can believe in tomorrow.’ ”

If the nation continues on this disastrous course Mr. Obama has set, there will be no tomorrow.

The rancorous debate over the debt belies a fundamental truth of our economy -- that it is run for the few at the expense of the many, that our entire government has been turned into a machine which takes the wealth of a mass of Americans and accelerates it into the hands of the few.

Take war. War takes the money from the American people and puts it into the hands of arms manufacturers, war profiteers, and private armies. The war in Iraq, based on lies: $3 trillion will be the cost of that war. The war in Afghanistan; based on a misreading of history; half a trillion of dollars in expenses already. The war against Libya will be $1 billion by September.

Fifty percent of our discretionary spending goes for the Pentagon. A massive transfer of wealth into the hands of a few while the American people lack sufficient jobs, health care, housing, retirement security.

Our energy policies take the wealth from the American people and put it into the hands of the oil companies. We could be looking at $150 a barrel for oil in the near future.

Our environmental policy takes the wealth of the people -- clean air, clean water -- and puts it in the hands of the polluters. It’s a transfer of wealth, not only from the present but from future generations as our environment is ruined.

Insurance companies, what do they do? They take the wealth from the American people in terms of what they charge people for health insurance and they put it into the hands of the few.
We have to realize what this country's economy has become. Our monetary policy, through the Federal Reserve Act of 1913, privatized the money supply, gathers the wealth, puts it in the hands of the few while the Federal Reserve can create money out of nothing, give it to banks to park at the Fed while our small businesses are starving for capital.

Mark my words -- Wall Street cashes in whether we have a default or not. And the same type of thinking that created billions in bailouts for Wall Street and more than $1 trillion in giveaways by the Federal Reserve today leaves 26 million Americans either underemployed or unemployed. And nine out of ten Americans over the age of 65 are facing cuts in their Social Security in order to pay for a debt which grew from tax cuts for the rich and for endless wars.

There is a massive transfer of wealth from the American people to the hands of a few and it's going on right now as America’s eyes are misdirected to the political theater of these histrionic debt negotiations, threats to shut down the government, and willingness to make the most Americans pay dearly for debts they did not create.

These are symptoms of a government which has lost its way, and they are a challenge to the legitimacy of the two-party system.

Indeed, this isn't the "Great Recession", it's the Great Bank Robbery. The big banks have pillaged and looted the rest of the world.

For a growing number of Americans, it has become an all-out battle just to be able to afford to sleep under a roof and put a little bit of food on the table. Sadly, there are more people than ever that are losing that battle.

Tonight, tens of thousands of formerly middle class Americans will be sleeping in their cars, even though that is illegal in many U.S. cities. Tens of thousands of others will be sleeping in tent cities or on the streets.

Meanwhile, communities all over America are passing measures that are meant to push tent cities and homeless people out of their areas. It turns out that once you lose your job and your home in this country you become something of an outcast. Sadly, the number of "outcasts" is going to continue to grow as the U.S. economy continues to collapse.

Most Americans that end up living in their cars on in tent cities never thought that it would happen to them.

An article in Der Spiegel profiled one American couple that is absolutely shocked at what has happened to them...

Chanelle Sabedra is already on that road. She and her husband have been sleeping in their car for almost three weeks now. "We never saw this coming, never ever," says Sabedra. She starts to cry. "I'm an adult, I can take care of myself one way or another, and same with my husband, but (my kids are) too little to go through these things." She has three children; they are nine, five and three years old.

"We had a house further south, in San Bernardino," says Sabedra. Her husband lost his job building prefab houses in July 2009. The utility company turned off the gas. "We were boiling water on the barbeque to bathe our kids," she says. No longer able to pay the rent, the Sabedras were evicted from their house in August.

America is becoming a very cruel place.

Unfortunately, what has happened to that family is not an isolated incident. As rampant unemployment has spread across America, the number of people that have lost their homes has soared.

Today, it is estimated that approximately a third of the homeless population in Seattle live in their cars.

Desperation is rising all over America. Most people had hoped to see an economic recovery by now but it just hasn't happened...

The United States can be a very brutal place to be if you are poor...

A man sent me an email after my last column on the queering of America's churches saying I shouldn't be so explicit in my use of words. Wrong. This country needs some reality and not just more propaganda wrapped up in fuzzy, politically correct words like "gay." Oh, John and Bill are wonderful gays. Sam and Tom are gay. Well, exactly what does that mean? That the sum total of their sexual preferences are kissing and holding hands? Do people understand how they are being manipulated by words, images and repeated lies?

Is describing what homosexuals do offensive? I have yet to hear one single person say that having sex in someone else's rectum and feces is normal and healthy. Criticizing the filthy practice of sodomy is called "hate speech." How else should one describe sodomy practiced by "gays"? Perhaps I should call it buggery, but it doesn't change the act.

Late Friday night, June 24, 2011, New York became the sixth state of the Union to "legalize" marriage for sexual deviants. The world was immediately flooded with live media feeds of debauchery in several major cities. New York City saw "lots of celebrations." Men who have sex in each other's feces were kissing and groping. Females who slobber in each other's vaginas and other perversions, kissing and hugging. I find that highly offensive. Oh, I know the old argument on this issue about "tolerance" - especially from Libertarians. My personal opinion, which always gets me in trouble with libertarians, is that they confuse licentiousness with liberty.

The cultural war regarding sexual deviants has been waged with increased fervor since AIDS came to the attention of the American people. THAT is when the push really began for "tolerance" and "social justice" regarding sexual deviants. A deadly disease that was infecting and killing thousands spread by men having dangerous sex. Of course, the spread of AIDS and HIV could have come to a near complete stop had men stopped the practice of sodomy. They didn't back in the 80s, and, sadly, the rest is history.

Four Republicans sold out to promote the death of Western civilization and a nation which used to adhere to Christian and moral standards. They need to be booted out of the NY State Senate in 2012: James Alesi, Roy McDonald, Stephen Saland, and Mark Grisanti.

"Sen. Mark Grisanti, a GOP freshman from Buffalo who also had been undecided, also voted for the bill. Grisanti said he could not deny anyone what he called basic rights. "I apologize to those I offend," said Grisanti, a Roman Catholic. "But I believe you can be wiser today than yesterday. I believe this state needs to provide equal rights and protections for all its residents," he said." Grisanti is a Catholic in name only because he spit in God's face with his vote. It was a no brainer morally bankrupt Gov. Andrew Cuomo would sign the bill calling it "social justice."

"Social justice" is just more communist propaganda. I know I'm repeating myself, but it is and has been for more than eight decades the goal of the communists and let me quote Jeri Lynn Ball from her book, Masters of Seduction:

"Communist masters who ran the “former” Soviet Union and East Bloc nations during the Cold War are still in control of these hapless countries today and that they are waging psychological warfare, using the same powerful secret weapon to subjugate Americans that they used to enslave their own people. The Russian totalitarians, Red Chinese, and their globalist American “partners” are using this secret ideological weapon, among other things, to achieve world domination....

"Nikolai Bukharin had previously written “that the revolution's principle task was to ‘alter people's actual psychology.’” In 1928 Bukharin stated that “one of the first priorities is the question of the systematic preparation of new men, the builders of [totalitarian] socialism.” In his book, Soviet Civilization, Andrei Sinyavsky states that the “idea of the new man is the cornerstone of Soviet civilization.”

The communists have never wavered from their goals:

26. Present homosexuality, degeneracy and promiscuity as "normal, natural, healthy."

27. Infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with "social" religion.

Change the way people think and believe. Destroy the traditional family and marriage between only a man and woman. Replace with two daddys or two mommies. Promote and condone, as the United States government is doing at every level, the filth of sodomy and all the horrible diseases suffered by sodomites. Sell "gay" regarding lesbians to soften the abomination they commit in God's eyes. Remember: Communism can only flourish in a Godless country; take a good long look at China and North Korea. Next came allowing sexual deviants to adopt precious children and brain wash them with the big lie: Born that way. Sexual deviants adopting children is child abuse condoned by political animals in the state houses more worried about votes from a small minority with an agenda than the welfare of children.

Marriage for more than 5,000 years has always been between a man and woman, not sexual deviants. The psychological warfare that has been underway in this country for decades has been successful in distracting the American people from the core issue regarding sexual deviants and so called "social justice." Throughout history, men who have sex in each other's rectums and feces were identified as homosexuals or queers. They still are and the Internet is replete with web sites proclaiming "We're queer and we're here."

In order to take the stench away from what homosexuals do and the horrible number of preventable deaths from AIDS in the early 80s, clever marketing began in earnest. Homosexuals were now "gay" due to their "sexual orientation." The first really big battle came in 1992 when the voters passed Amendment Two out in Colorado that would would have prohibited "all legislative, executive, or judicial action at any level of state or local government designed to protect the status of persons based on their 'homosexual, lesbian or bisexual orientation, conduct, practices or relationships'."

Of course, lawsuits followed and a preliminary injunction from the trial court prevented the will of the people from ever being law. That injunction was upheld by the Colorado Supreme Court, who along with the trial court, sided saying the rights of sexual deviants was violated regarding participation in the political process. All based on a lie: Born that way.

Next up in the judicial cesspool we had Lawrence v Texas. A total set up to test sodomy laws here in Texas. I read Sex Appealed: "Sex Appealed: Was the US Supreme Court Fooled?"
by Judge Janice Law. She accurately describes how sexual deviants staged a sodomy event so they would be arrested. Now, this is important: If you read no other book on this, read How to Dethrone the Imperial Judiciary by Dr. Edwin Vieira. It's not one of this 1,000 page tomes, but it is critical in understanding how the courts have driven a stake through the heart of traditional morals in this country. Oh, and that other "out dated" argument about God calling sodomy and women who defile their bodies with each other as an abomination.

READ that book to clearly and fully understand what that U.S. Supreme Court did to this country AND the subversion of our laws. Part I of Dethrone the Imperial Judiciary is: The Illegitimate Insinuation of Foreign Law and Amorialty Into America's Constitutional Jurisprudence. For those conservatives who think Sandra Day O'Connor was a "great" justice of the Supreme Court, I submit that you don't have a clue. Quoting from page 26: "On the other side, Justice O'Connor did not deny that homosexuality is a voluntarily chosen lifestyle..."

There you have it. It doesn't matter sodomites and lesbians are not "born that way" as screeched by the sluttish pop diva "Lady" Gaga. I guarantee you that once you are finished with Edwin's book, you will have a complete education on our rotten judicial system and why favorable decisions to promote sexual deviants is rampant. SHAME on the "conservative" Republicans in the Outlaw Congress (most still in office) who have done nothing to throw activist federal judges off the bench when they've had complete control of Congress over the Democrats.

Is the battle over just because New York has passed such a toxic "law"? Can it be challenged? Yes, but it won't be easy. First, there are religious exemptions.

But, how about business owners who refuse to recognize "same sex marriage"? Let's say Countryside Bank (fictional name) in Madison, NY refuses to open a bank account for Mr. and Mr. Sexual Deviants because the owners of the bank refuse to flush their moral code down the commode. Or, a family who owns a motel refuses to rent a room for the night for Mr. and Mr. or Mrs. and Mrs. Sexual Deviant. The first thing that will happen is the America hating ACLU will jump in and sue. That is why you must read How to Dethrone the Imperial Judiciary.

Every member of every state legislature who is against the massive effort to normalize sodomy, lesbian sex and "same sex" marriage needs to read that book. If you're a state legislator, buy ten copies and give them to your colleagues because I guarantee you: that very small minority will not stop until they are stopped once and for all.

Legislators must understand how foreign law is being used to usurp the rights of the states and their citizens on this issue. If I had the money, I would send a copy to every Republican in all 50 state houses along with a copy of a factual scientific analysis proving "born that way" is a lie: This is the Way God Made Me'- A Scientific Examination of Homosexuality and the 'Gay Gene'

The whole argument for sexual deviants is "civil rights" and "born that way". In the article above, that propaganda is shredded by scientific truth, not politically correct propaganda and THAT is the hammer that must be used in fighting back the massive push to legalize marriage between sexual deviants. This isn't about "social justice" or "marriage equality" it's about lies promoting filthy and dangerous sexual preferences.

I refuse to use the word "gay" when writing about sexual deviants. I will never recognize "same sex" marriage and I don't care how many laws get passed by some legislature or the Outlaw Congress. If you play the game by the enemies rules, they win. If you don't understand past court rulings by activist judges, legislatures will not be able to defeat bills and the same applies for future lawsuits that will come from sexual deviants marrying in another state and then coming back to the one they reside in and demand New York's law be upheld. It goes without saying that NY will become a magnet for sexual deviants from other states getting "married". This is going to be a nightmare that needs to be fought with the right legal argument. The American people also need to stop electing the same damn "conservative" representatives to the Outlaw Congress who do nothing about impeaching activist judges who use foreign laws in our court system.

Starve the sponsors. Earlier this month, "Gay" Pride Week in Boston paraded in the streets; photos here. Think those types of parades will only stay in the big cities like SF and Boston? Think again. Where was Cardinal Seán O’Malley from the Archdiocese of Boston? The only response to the toxic "same sex" marriage "law" in New York from the Catholic Church was they found it "disturbing". By all that's holy, Cardinal O'Malley should have been out there on the street at that parade denouncing sin!

Starve the sponsors. This is a list of corporations that put big bucks into sponsoring sexual deviants and supporting their agenda. If you don't make your voice heard through your purchasing power, nothing will change. Add Home Depot to the list.

As for the issue of hating homosexuals and lesbians, that is not in my heart. I feel pity and great sadness for those who have been lured into a dangerous and immoral "alternative lifestyle." I hope you can read the uplifting story below about Michael Glatze and why he left the homosexual lifestyle.

When one surveys the world situation, one cannot react with anything but intense disquiet and apprehension. The premonition of imminent catastrophe cannot be shunted aside as unthinkable or as the capricious imaginings of the congenitally unstable. War is in the air, as it was in 1914 and 1939, before the actual outbreak of hostilities. And the flashpoints are instantly discernible, namely, the Middle East and the South Asian theater. The sequel appears to be pretty much inevitable.

In a certain sense, assigning blame for the coming eruption is a useless enterprise. Al-Qaeda and the Iranian Shi’ite regime are only acting in character; they are the carnivores of the current political world and cannot be expected to begin acting like herbivores. They have openly declared their intentions many times over and have given every indication of being willing to use nuclear weapons once they control or develop them. Those of us who downplay the utter fanaticism of Twelver Shi’a theology or the visceral savagery and determination of al-Qaeda—both Iran and al-Qaeda may be plausibly defined as “non-rational adversaries”—are living in the flimsiest of bubbles. Russia and China have regularly collaborated with the potential “slayers of mankind” as it is in their nature to do. The former is concerned with supply-profit, the latter with energy demands, and both with the purpose of further weakening the United States. Their lack of forethought is endemic and incurable. As for the feeble European democracies, they cannot do other than posture and appease in the face of an approaching firestorm. That is part of their genome.

But if responsibility for the gathering storm is to be ascribed, it is to the United States of America, in virtue of its pre-eminent position on the global stage and of its failure, under the most dangerous and politically corrupted president in its history, to address the looming threat. For the U.S. until recently was the only nation in the world that enjoyed the power, the means, the legitimacy and the authority to avert the coming disaster, but has now abdicated that responsibility. Indeed, its conduct in the international arena has been entirely myopic and counter-productive.

Its Libyan intervention is a blatant misadventure, without a clear and sustained strategy and in violation of the War Powers Resolution and the Constitution. Its levying of sanctions against Iran is a mordant joke and has had no effect on deterring the mullahs in their quest for nuclear weapons and the development of a long-range delivery system. Its support of the misnamed Arab Spring has led to the credible prospect of an anti-American and anti-Israeli Muslim Brotherhood regime assuming power in Egypt. Its pressuring Israel to make untenable concessions to the Palestinian Authority has only hardened the latter’s negotiating position and rendered the “peace process” null and void.

The absence of a strong and effective Middle East policy has facilitated the takeover of Lebanon by Hezbollah, empowered Hamas in dominating a unity government with Fatah, and permitted Turkey to drift inexorably into the Islamic orbit. And just as the U.S. had little to say about Iran’s crushing of its own people during the popular revolt of 2009, so it remains essentially mute as Syria’s Bashar Assad slaughters his own countrymen with complete impunity. After all, according to a recent statement of Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Bashar Assad is a “reformer.” The comedy of terrors is literally mind-boggling.

The result of the American forfeiture of its political will, practical intelligence and moral inheritance, as it grows increasingly to resemble the political caricature that goes by the name of the European Union, is all too predictable. It means that there are only two countries in the world left to meet the Islamic nuclear menace: India, which will have to deal with Pakistan in the event that al-Qaeda gains control of the country’s nuclear capability; and Israel, which at tremendous cost to itself will have little choice but to act against a nuclearizing Iran and its terrorist proxies.

There is no point in deluding ourselves any longer or smugly dismissing apocalyptic scenarios as mere unbridled fear-mongering. War is going to break out in the Middle East, possibly later this year and almost certainly in 2012, and eventually in South Asia. There is a stark likelihood that these may be WMD wars. For if Israel is targeted by Hezbollah’s 40,000-50,000 missiles, some of which are reported to be fitted with chemical and biological payloads and which can reach every corner of the country, it may need to reply in cataclysmic kind in order to survive. Abandoned by its American ally and left to its own resources, it may quite simply have no alternative, unless it agrees to commit national suicide. Despite the promising development of the Arrow anti-ballistic missile program, neither preemption—known in customary international law as “anticipatory self-defense”—nor second-strike reprisal can be ruled out. And if the U.S.-subsidized but unreliable Pakistani regime with its estimated 70-90 nuclear warheads goes rogue, with the finger of al-Qaeda on the nuclear button, India too may have no option but to respond in the same manner.

These two potential war zones are heating up. The Japanese Sankei Shimbun newspaper reveals that North Korea dispatched 160 nuclear experts to Iran in May, and Fars News Agency reports on Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardan’s recent visit Tehran to discuss “a vast range of issues.” We can readily imagine what some of these topics will be. Between Iran and Pakistan falls the shadow.

True, the Korean peninsula is also a potential war zone, but despite the North’s aggressive rheteoric and occasional acts of belligerence, it will be restrained by China for which a peninsular war on its borders is not in its interests. North Korea’s mischief making is mainly confined to the export of its nuclear technology and expertise to Iran and Syria. The Middle East and South Asia remain the epicenters of the approaching upheavals.

There is a slight chance that we may emerge from the present inflammable circumstances if we are providentially given two gifts: more time, and a new, vigorous and wiser American administration. Otherwise, those of us who are not immediately and physically implicated would have only one hope, that the carnage stays localized. But there is no guarantee that this will be the case. And we will then have deserved whatever calamity is inflicted upon us for our blindness, self-deception, anemic leadership and languid inactivity in the face of what might have been prevented.

The writing is on the wall and it does not take a Daniel to interpret it.

In the most blatant display of anti-Americanism to date for a news magazine, the erudite and the eloquent of the intelligentsia of Time Magazine have relegated the U.S. Constitution to the dust bin of history, suggesting that it is no longer relevant.

The disgusting display was featured as a cover story, 'Does the Constitution Still Matter? '

To most thinking people the question is tantamount to asking about the relevance of the Magna Carta or the Emancipation Proclamation. After all, the U.S. does not face the same circumstances. There are no slaves to be freed, for example.

But to the geniuses at Time the Constitution is to be questioned because the Founders 'could not have envisioned the Great Depression, two World Wars, space exploration, or Lady Ga Ga.' Yes, Lady Ga Ga.

The fact that the Constitution is a scholarly document containing the views of the best minds of the day on timeless truths, rather than a newspaper, seemed to sail right over the pointed heads of Time's bearded, pipe-smoking elitists.

One does not have to know all about the details of life in the future to know timeless truths that pertain to all mankind in all of the vast expanse of history, from start to finish. The concepts of human freedom and inalienable rights given by God are not dependent on the mundane issues of the day. They are relevant for all time because human beings at their core forever remain the same. No matter how far civilization progresses there remains within the human heart temptations to dominate others against their will, to force others to live under restrictions that are indefensible, or to deprive others of rights simply because we may think they do not deserve it or that they are somehow inferior. Humans tend to engage in mob rule unless there is a check on such unbridled power.

The Constitution prevents government from committing these atrocities simply because all governments, in all time-periods, tend to do all of these things. The tendency of power is to gain more power. And power corrupts. This is a lesson from history that the clueless, self-appointed pedagogues at Time have clearly forgotten, if they ever knew it at all.

Barack Obama is famous for saying that the Constitution is flawed because it merely limits government from encroaching on the rights of individuals but fails to positively delineate the rights of government. The concept inherent in such a statement is that we need a rewritten Constitution or a new one that contains these rights of government.

We already have such a document. It is called 'The Communist Manifesto.'

And without the Constitution to prevent government from systematically laying siege to all of the rights of individuals, a vacuum is created that most assuredly will be filled with concepts similar to those contained in The Communist Manifesto. At that point liberty is gone forever. And Time has now thrown its weight behind that movement.

Most Serious: Japan, Pacific Ocean, and Pacific Rim States

Most Contaminated food areas of North America (based on fallout wind spread patterns charted by European scientific research agencies) in order of likely intensity of contamination, starting with the most contaminated:

Entire Pacific Coast (note that much of the produce in North America comes from this region, especially California)
Northern U.S. States close to Canada, and Canadian areas close to the U.S. (including Toronto etc.)
Eastern States
Central States of the U.S., and Far Northern areas of Canada

SAFEST AREAS OF ORIGIN FOR FOOD PRODUCTS

The majority of contamination is in the northern hemisphere and the Pacific Ocean region. Most of the Southern Hemisphere has little to no fallout (the exception is the Southern Hemisphere in the Pacific; Australia for example is finding radioactive fish in the ocean, so although they may not get much atmospheric fallout they are affected by the massive contamination of the Pacific Ocean.)

Also note that radioactive contamination is being found on non-food products being imported from Japan.

Safest Areas of Origin for food products:
Central America (avoid items from the Pacific Coast area of Mexico)
South America
Africa

Europe is also far less contaminated that North America, although it is also experiencing significant fallout; so it is a better source for products than North America, however not as good as Southern Hemisphere sources. (However some South American produce may contain high levels of pesticides not allowed to be used in the U.S. or Canada.)

ITEMS OF SPECIAL CONCERN FROM AFFECTED AREAS

Most affected:

All Ocean-Derived Products from the Pacific Ocean: the Fukushima accident dumped millions of times the normal background levels of radiation into the Pacific, where it is affecting the entire ocean (most toxic near Japan and bordering areas, but now reaching to the US West Coast: debris from the Tsunami in Japan is also expected to start washing up on the West Coast in the near future.) There are already reports of Pacific Fish showing radioactive contamination.

This indicates a need to be cautious regarding:
All Pacific Ocean Fish
Sea Salt or Ocean Minerals derived from the Pacific
All Pacific Seaweed and Sea Vegetables (order Atlantic Ocean seaweed at www.theseaweedman.com )

Milk and all Dairy Products (butter, cheese etc.) from all animals: Cows, Goats, and Sheep (Dairy products have the most intense immediate absorption of radiation from fallout). Radioactive contamination of milk has been found throughout the United States, especially on the West Coast.

Any plant with a large surface area exposed to the air while growing: The most intense radiation absorption in plants is through rain falling directly on the leaves of the plant, where it is directly absorbed. Rainwater absorbed through the earth into the plant is already of much lower radiation intensity due to the filtering affect of the soil.

All broad leaf plants and plants with large surface areas grown in the open air (rather than in greenhouses) are the most contaminated, for instance Salad Greens, Spinach, Cabbage etc. Contaminated crops in California (carrying radioactive iodine and cesium) have already been confirmed by UC Berkeley.

[Carrots and other root vegetables are less contaminated due to growing underground.]

Water from Rainwater or Open Lake type catchments: instead drink bottled water, or water from underground wells or other underground sources (radiation is greatly reduced when the particles have to travel through the ground.)

PREGNANT (OR BREASTFEEDING) WOMEN AND YOUNG CHILDREN SHOULD ESPECIALLY BE CAREFUL REGARDING THESE ITEMS COMING FROM FALLOUT AFFECTED AREAS

Barack Obama, married and father of two girls, may be straight, but he has proven to be the most active President when it comes to efforts that would establish homosexuality as a “normal” lifestyle in America. While I fully expect to evoke howls from the GLBT movement in saying this, the fact remains that no where in nature is homosexuality the norm. The Korean War ended in a stalemate in 1953. Having begun on June 25, 1950 with the blessings of Joseph Stalin, an armistice agreement on July 27, 1953 left the peninsula divided between the Republic of South Korea and the Peoples Republic of North Korea. How long ago was that? Dwight D. Eisenhower was elected largely on the promise to go there and secure an end to the conflict

By the time it was over the Red Chinese had intervened and American casualties were around 54,000 with 103,000 wounded. The North Koreans and Chinese were estimated to have lost ten times that number. The war was immensely unpopular with an American public that was still recovering from World War Two that had ended in 1945."

To his credit, President Truman did not hesitate to commit troops. Within two days after the invasion, Americans were fighting another war in Asia. The United Nations provided cover and the conflict was officially a UN action.

It was a proxy war, part of the long Cold War that had begun at the end of World War Two. The Chinese got involved when Gen. Douglas McArthur’s strategies put U.S. troops close to their border. He wanted to finish off not just the North Koreans, but the fledgling communist Chinese government as well. Truman relieved him of command after he neglected the fact that U.S. armies fight under civilian control in the form of an elected Commander-in-Chief and authorization from Congress.

In time, China for reasons of proximity and other factors became the power that controlled North Korea. Under Kim ill-Sung, known as the “Great Leader”, a Soviet protégée of Stalin’s, and his son Kim Jong-il, the “Dear Leader”, North Korea has evolved into the classic rogue nation. It was named one of George W. Bush’s “axis of evil.”

China provides life support for North Korea, the supplier of food and energy. In his 2004 book, “Rogue State: How a Nuclear North Korea Threatens America”, William C. Triplett II, noted that “communist China is central to all North Korean issues, from human rights to weapons proliferation.”

Whatever North Korea does is sanctioned by China. This fact has been largely shielded by U.S. policy from the American public. North Korea is known in diplomatic circles as “China’s hidden dagger.” The phrase is taken from an ancient Chinese military text called “36 Srategems.” It means the covert use of another country to annihilate your enemy. North Korea threatens South Korea and Japan, and by extension the U.S. which is committed to come to its defense.

American administrations have negotiated with North Korea and each has learned that they will not adhere to any agreement, using negotiations to secure bribes of all kinds, including one in which the U.S. agreed to build two nuclear facilities there! Recent news revealed they have increased their ability to produce nuclear weapons to the utter astonishment of U.S. intelligence agencies.

Its nuclear program was begun by Moscow and Beijing converted it to a weapons program. Triplett said that Beijing uses North Korea as a proxy distributor of weapons of mass destruction and ballistic missiles to terrorist nations that include Iran and Syria. They in turn, provide weapons to their proxies, Hezbollah and Hamas.

Like Iran, no sanctions and no threats of military reprisal have ever had any serious affect on North Korea.

Writing during the George W. Bush administration, Triplett said “There is no endgame strategy. North Korean aggression and provocations still go unpunished.” Together, the North Koreans and China “have successfully bogged any progress in endless diplomatic meetings and conferences while North Korea’s nuclear research marches on.”

America is in no position to fight another war on the Korean peninsula and is dependent on China (and Japan) to purchase its securities to keep its economy functioning in the wake of the 2008 economic crisis. America’s manufacturing base has largely been undermined by the transfer of many of our industries to China.

Americans have largely forgotten the threat of communism.

The latest North Korean attacks are China’s way of reminding the U.S. of its dilemma and dependence.

The failure to secure a victory over North Korea in the 1950s, too much dithering since then, and too much distraction fighting recent wars in Afghanistan and Iraq have combined to render America a paper tiger who, despite our vast military power, will not or cannot pull the trigger.

I don't think that our foreign policy has been in straits this dire since the early 1960s, when we rushed headlong from the Bay of Pigs and the Cuban Missile Crisis straight into Vietnam. At least then our foreign policy was consistent in its anti-communism.

Today's is incoherent, counterproductive, and sometimes downright idiotic (e.g., when Hillary Clinton went to Russia to push the "reset button"). The Obama administration is either doing nothing to preempt the coming disasters or actually making them worse. It's time for a full-blown, radical reevaluation of our foreign policy.

Afghanistan: The Russians must be laughing their tails off watching the U.S. get stuck in Afghanistan, just as they did in 1979...

Iraq: Iraq had been a festering sore in the Middle East for two decades...

Iran:.. The U.S. has not had diplomatic relations with Iran for thirty years and has named Iran to the list of nations that sponsor terrorism.

NATO:... Today, NATO is an alliance without a purpose. NATO is a collective-defense alliance, meaning that American troops are committed to die for the defense of other members...

The Rest of the World: ...Japan,...China...Korea...Pakistan...Mexico...

An honest appraisal of the situation is downright depressing. In a few years, everything might come unglued. Hopefully that won't happen, but the current trajectory of things doesn't look very good, and our political leadership seems absolutely clueless about how to advance American interests in an increasingly dangerous world

Scientists at the world's biggest atom smasher have recreated Big Bang conditions by switching the particles they use for collisions from protons to much heavier lead ions.

The Large Hadron Collider recorded its first lead ion collisions on Sunday and has since stabilised the twin beams sufficiently to start running physics experiments, said a spokeswoman for the European Organisation for Nuclear Research.

The collisions produce an effect that is as close as researchers have ever come to observing the state of matter moments after the formation of the universe, which is believed to have begun with a colossal explosion known as the Big Bang.

Scientists at the world's biggest atom smasher are stepping up their efforts to recreate the Big Bang that formed the universe, after breaking new ground ahead of schedule.

Sergio Bertolucci, the director for research and computing at the European Organisation for Nuclear Research (CERN), says experiments are on track.

"The experiments are already providing an exciting glimpse of the new frontier," he said.

CERN says lead ions, which are heavier than the protons used for collision over the past seven months, will be accelerated in the machine for the first time, opening up an entirely new avenue of exploration.

They will probe matter "as it would have been in the first instants of the universe's existence"...

The 27-kilometre circular particle accelerator buried under the French-Swiss border has been recreating powerful but microscopic bursts of energy that mimic conditions close to the Big Bang.
CERN says it brought the record-breaking run of proton collisions in the giant $5.2 billion Large Hadron Collider (LHC) to a successful conclusion on Thursday.

In the Wall Street Journal's op-ed pages, Mr. Soros supports California's Proposition 19, the ballot initiative that would legalize the possession of small amounts of marijuana and its domestic cultivation.

Proposition 19 is a major step toward Mr. Soros' ultimate goal: the legalization of almost all hard drugs — including cocaine and heroin. This is a cause Mr. Soros has pushed — and bankrolled — for decades. It would take America closer to his vision of a European-style permissive social democracy.

The prevalence of drugs threatens the very fabric of our society, destroying the lives (and brains) of millions of Americans. It also fosters child abuse, domestic violence, crime, illegitimacy, AIDS and social breakdown. It is a public scourge whose use should not be encouraged or legally sanctioned, but eradicated.

The fact that legalization would result in more drug-induced deaths and higher addiction rates, especially among children and teenagers, means nothing to Mr. Soros. He champions the culture of death. Abortion, atheism, pornography, gay marriage, euthanasia and doctor-assisted suicide — these are the issues central to Mr. Soros' progressive agenda.

Media elites pay little attention to Mr. Soros and his nefarious activities because they share his political philosophy. Hence, they refuse to shine a spotlight on his secretive, rapacious and immoral behavior. They are complicit in covering up his shady, manipulative and destructive business dealings and his extreme neo-Marxist views.

Mr. Soros is the sugar daddy of the Democratic Party and the modern left. His net worth is more than $7 billion. He is one of the richest and most influential men in the world.

Almost every major liberal organization, think tank or media outlet has been the beneficiary of Mr. Soros' largesse. The Nation magazine, Mother Jones, Media Matters, MoveOn.org, NPR and the Center for American Progress — all together they have received tens of millions of dollars from the financier. They serve as front groups and propaganda vehicles to promote Mr. Soros' brand of transnational socialism.

He has poured hundreds of millions into the former communist bloc. The former Soviet empire has thus become the Soros empire. Mr. Soros has worked behind the scenes to destabilize and influence governments such as Croatia, Slovakia, Serbia, Georgia, Kosovo and Ukraine. In the process, he has plundered countries' natural resources.

Mr. Soros is a liberal imperialist who seeks to erect one-world government. He is a rabid anti-capitalist. He favors high taxes, lavish public spending, welfare statism, massive redistribution of wealth to the poor and a tightly controlled international regulatory financial system. He despises nationalism and the West's Judeo-Christian heritage. His aim is to usher in a new global order — one based on scientific materialism and progressive social engineering.

Ultimately, President Obama’s legacy to America will be the decline of a great superpower, weighed down by crushing debts and massive entitlement programs, and facing an emboldened set of adversaries, from Moscow to Tehran to Pyongyang. The damage inflicted by the Obama administration will ultimately be worse than the harm caused by the presidency of Jimmy Carter due to the scale of the long-term economic crisis now facing America.

Can this be reversed? Yes, but it will require a Herculean effort by a US president on the level of a Ronald Reagan, as well as a United States Congress that is willing to implement the free market measures and public cuts that will be needed to revive America’s economy as well as confront the budget deficit, and restore Washington’s standing abroad.

The United States needs strong leadership based upon its founding principles of limited government and individual liberty, and driven by a sense of American greatness and exceptionalism. Nothing short of a political revolution of the kind that swept both sides of the Atlantic in 1979 and 1980 is needed to secure America’s future and ensure it is able to lead the free world for the next century.

Pruning the power of government begins with the imperial presidency.

Too many overreaching laws give the president too much discretion to make too many open-ended rules controlling too many aspects of our lives. There's no end to the harm an out-of-control president can do.

This week's meeting between President Obama and British Prime Minister David Cameron could kill off the US-UK 'special relationship' if Obama continues to indulge his anti-British prejudices.

Obama's anti-British views may go back to his childhood. His grandfather -- Hussein Onyango Obama -- was involved in the 1952 Mau Mau Uprising against the British in Kenya. He was caught and sentenced to six months in a brutal high security prison...

Since Obama's inauguration however, it has been clear that ...Obama is deeply anti-British and is quite willing to show it.

It started with the infamous case of the Churchill bust...Obama returned the bust the minute he stepped into the Oval office. The symbolism was obvious -- Obama's America does not need Britain anymore...

Yet since then the air has turned even sourer. It didn't take a genius to realise that Obama would cool down the relationship with the British -- he is a huge fan of the European Union, and that was clearly where he would place his emphasis in diplomatic relations. Yet, his administration has gone from typically childish snubs -- such as Michelle Obama condescendingly treating our Monarch like a cute little old lady -- to outright hostility.

Nile Gardiner notes that there has been at least ten major anti-British incidents since Obama took office. In addition to the President not once referring to the 'Special Relationship' in his speeches, failing to acknowledge British sacrifice in Afghanistan, and consistently refusing
to meet with the Prime Minister, Obama's administration has refused to acknowledge British sovereignty of the Falkland Islands (where 258 British soldiers died defending it in 1982), mocked the British press, and undermined British influence in NATO by apologizing to France. To top this barrage of insults off, Obama's State Department responded to criticism that the President was ignoring Britain, by describing the President as 'overwhelmed' and reminding

There's nothing special about Britain. You're just the same as the other 190
countries in the world. You shouldn't expect special treatment.

At the moment, these childish attacks by the Obama administration are just hurting the British. Yet it could also hurt the American public...

What started off as petty snubs from a petulant President has rapidly turned into a diplomatic crisis.

If Obama does not play ball with Cameron this week, and refuses to back down from his anti-British agenda, America's ability to defend itself from terrorist attacks may be weakened and its future ability to win wars may be damaged. In short, Obama's deep-rooted prejudices may cost American lives.

According to the British paper Daily Mail, “Prime Minister David Cameron will give his backing to an openly gay cleric who wants to become a bishop in a move that could threaten to split the Church of England.

Dr Jeffrey John, the Dean of St Albans, is on the shortlist to be the next Bishop of Southwark. But his candidacy could spark a civil war between the liberal and conservative wings of the Church of England.” African archbishops who are more conservative predict that this move by Cameron could tear apart the Anglican Church. Once Mr. Cameron supports Dr. John, the Queen will then be required to approve him (Mail Online, July 4, 2010).

Long ago, God prophesied against Israel, “You have wearied the LORD with your words… In that you say, ‘Everyone who does evil is good in the sight of the LORD, and He delights in them’” (Malachi 2:17). Mr. Cameron is just one of many leaders of Israelite-descended nations who have joined the ground-swell of opinion in support of making national leaders out of what God clearly calls sinners.

As the Gulf oil disaster closes in on the 50-day mark, the Obama Administration and BP refuse to use the most effective method of oil cleanup. The top oil barons of the world--the Saudis--have used this method to avoid a mammoth oil disaster.

And the result was swift, effective, and conclusive.

In 1993 and '94 the Saudis faced an oil spill of historic proportions in the Arabian Gulf as four leaking tankers and two oil gushers threatened to spur a catastrophic event that was 65 times worse than the Exxon-Valdez spill.

An American engineer, Nick Pozzi, was part of a task force charged with developing a solution to the looming disaster.

Pozzi had used various methods to clean up oil spills prior to this event. However, the time was short, and an effective solution was needed post-haste.

That's when Pozzi decided that the huge, empty oil tankers, sitting in the dock, could be used to simply vacuum up the oil right off of the top of the water.

The result was that 85% of the oil was recovered.

Pozzi believes that the tanker method is the fastest and most effective way of dealing with the Gulf Oil disaster, but no one in the Obama Administration or BP is willing to consider the idea.

Instead, they have insisted on using untested techniques, one of which involves the use of chemical dispersants manufactured and sold by a company in which Obama cronies, Goldman Sachs, Citigroup, Hathaway-Berkshire, and BP, are heavily invested.

That company, NALCO, is also one of the so-called 'green' industries that Obama and the Leftwing favor due to its development of water purification systems.

Today Matt Simmons, one of the largest investment bankers in the energy industry appeared on Bloomberg. The chairman of Simmons & Co. INTL went on to explain that there is much more to the oil leak than the news has been reporting. Last Sunday, NOAA confirmed reports of a second fissure about 5-7 miles from the original. This new fissure appears to be releasing a plume the size of Delaware and Maryland combined! He went on to state that “the plume from the riser is minor thing… the best estimate is about 120,000 barrels of oil per day”.

Simmons is quoted as saying, “Obama could remove BP today… tell BP it is time to leave”. Some questions were also brought up that pertained to a nuclear device and how the military could lower one 18,000 feet into the well bore.

Simmons went on to say ” Such techniques have been used by the Russians on several different occasions".

From all of the best scientists who have thought about this in the past few days, probably the only thing we can do is create a weapons system and send it down 18,000 feet, detonate it and hopefully case in the oil.

That we would even have discussions about setting of nuclear explosions in hope they would accomplish something is certainly not encouraging to say the least.

A day after scientists reported finding a huge “plume” of oil extending miles east of the leaking BP well, on Friday a Louisiana scientist said his crew had located another vast plume of oily globs, miles in the opposite direction.

James H. Cowan Jr., a professor at Louisiana State University, said his crew on Wednesday found a plume of oil in a section of the gulf 75 miles northwest of the source of the leak.

Cowan said that his crew sent a remotely controlled submarine into the water, and found it full of oily globules, from the size of a thumbnail to the size of a golf ball. Unlike the plume found east of the leak — in which the oil was so dissolved that contaminated water appeared clear — Cowan said the oil at this site was so thick that it covered the lights on the submarine.

It almost looks like big wet snowflakes, but they’re brown and black and oily,” Cowan said. The submarine returned to the surface entirely black, he said.

Cowan said that the submarine traveled about 400 feet down, close to the sea floor, and found oil all the way down. Trying to find the edges of the plume, he said the submarine traveled miles from side to side. “We really never found either end of it,” he said.

This discovery seems to confirm the fears of some scientists that — because of the depth of the leak and the heavy use of chemical “dispersants” — this spill was behaving differently than others. Instead of floating on top of the water, it may be moving beneath it.

Simmons went on the say scientist are now convinced the last majority of oil is below, and often well below, the surface. June 1 starts hurricane season and they worry that a hurricane coming aground in the Louisiana / Mississippi area could “push” all the below surface oil on the beaches and even inland ...

You will soon become familiar with Tirhakah. He was a mighty Egyptian pharaoh – a historic King of the South embroiled in incessant war with a historic King of the North. Tirhakah will again become famous largely because Will Smith (of “Men in Black”, “Ali” and “Hitch” fame) intends to star in a movie “of epic proportions” about him. But students of prophecy should be interested in Tirhakah for other reasons.

Tirhakah was the celebrated last Pharaoh of the 25th Egyptian dynasty – the Ethiopian dynasty, ruling circa 689 to 664 B.C. Because his glory was unsurpassed by subsequent pharaohs, Tirhakah is inaccurately called “The Last Pharaoh.” However, Tantamani, and the famous Cleopatra were pharaohs after him. And, scripture predicts a final pharaoh immediately before Christ’s return.

The Bible in 2 Kings 19:9 and Isaiah 37:9 record that it was Tirhakah who unsuccessfully attempted to repel the Assyrian hosts threatening King Hezekiah. But, his story should be of interest to students of the Bible, because the Egypt of Tirhakah’s past holds clues to Egypt’s and the Middle East’s future.

Around 740 B.C. Tirhakah’s father, Piye, invaded Egypt. At the time of Piye’s invasion, Egypt had fragmented into eleven feuding states governed by rulers of Libyan descent. This was the time of the Twenty-Second Egyptian Dynasty (circa 945-730 B.C.). Piye conquered and unified Egypt. His son, Tirhakah, ascended to a unified and powerful throne – rivaled only by the mighty Assyrian empire.

Initially, Tirhakah repelled numerous invasions by Assyria’s King Esarhaddon. However, by 671 B.C. the Assyrians overwhelmed Tirhakah’s forces, and Egypt was pillaged. Eventually, the Assyrians drove Tirhakah out of Lower Egypt, and his kingdom collapsed in 667 B.C.

After Assyrian King Esarhaddon’s death, Tirhakah returned to Egypt and routed the Assyrians. However, his victory was short-lived. Esarhaddon’s son, Assurbanipal, promptly set out from Nineveh and devastated Tirhakah’s armies. Tirhakah would flee all the way to his homeland of Nubia, where he remained until he died. He was buried under a 150-foot-high pyramid in Nuri, located in modern-day Sudan.

What is the significance for modern times?

While Tirhakah is inaccurately called “The Last Pharaoh,” scripture foretells a future pharaoh over Egypt (Isaiah 30:2-3). Scripture also foretells a future king who will rule over the consolidated peoples of Egypt, Ethiopia, Sudan and much of the rest of the Middle East.

Tomorrow’s World has often referenced the prophetic passage of Isaiah 30:13, which indicates that modern Jacob’s fall will come suddenly, like “a bulge in a high wall, whose breaking comes suddenly, in an instant.” This same prophetic passage shows Egypt as a leading power during this time (vv. 2, 3, 7). When combined with passages such as Psalms 83 and Daniel 11, the indication is that Egypt will be part of, if not the leader of, this powerful end-time Islamic confederation located geographically south of Jerusalem.

As Tirhakah’s story illustrates, Egypt and Ethiopia have occasionally been under the same government. When one considers the story of Tirhakah’s rule over consolidated peoples, and understands that the ethnicities mentioned in Daniel 11 and Psalms 83 include the Egyptians, Ethiopians (modern Cushites predominantly south of Egypt), Libyans, Edomites, etc., the Bible’s warnings that this entire region will again rally around a strong leader just as it did under Tirhakah nearly 2500 years ago become easily understandable.

The Church of God has proclaimed for decades that the final King of the South will lead a confederation of Muslim nations located in the Middle East and North Africa into war against the final King of the North. This future King of the South will again) be overwhelmed by this future King of the North.

Toxic Oil Spill Rains Warned Could Destroy North America

A dire report prepared for President Medvedev by Russia’s Ministry of Natural Resources is warning today that the British Petroleum (BP) oil and gas leak in the Gulf of Mexico is about to become the worst environmental catastrophe in all of human history threatening the entire eastern half of the North American continent with “total destruction”.

Russian scientists are basing their apocalyptic destruction assessment due to BP’s use of millions of gallons of the chemical dispersal agent known as Corexit 9500 which is being pumped directly into the leak of this wellhead over a mile under the Gulf of Mexico waters and designed, this report says, to keep hidden from the American public the full, and tragic, extent of this leak that is now estimated to be over 2.9 million gallons a day.

The dispersal agent Corexit 9500 is a solvent originally developed by Exxon and now manufactured by the Nalco Holding Company of Naperville, Illinois that is four times more toxic than oil (oil is toxic at 11 ppm (parts per million), Corexit 9500 at only 2.61ppm).

In a report written by Anita George-Ares and James R. Clark for Exxon Biomedical Sciences, Inc. titled “Acute Aquatic Toxicity of Three Corexit Products: An Overview” Corexit 9500 was found to be one of the most toxic dispersal agents ever developed. Even worse, according to this report, with higher water temperatures, like those now occurring in the Gulf of Mexico, its toxicity grows.

The United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in discovering BP’s use of this dangerous dispersal agent ordered BP to stop using it, but BP refused stating that their only alternative to Corexit 9500 was an even more dangerous dispersal agent known as Sea Brat 4...

A greater danger involving Corexit 9500, and as outlined by Russian scientists in this report, is that with its 2.61ppm toxicity level, and when combined with the heating Gulf of Mexico waters, its molecules will be able to “phase transition” from their present liquid to a gaseous state allowing them to be absorbed into clouds and allowing their release as “toxic rain” upon all of Eastern North America.

Even worse, should a Katrina like tropical hurricane form in the Gulf of Mexico while tens of millions of gallons of Corexit 9500 are sitting on, or near, its surface the resulting “toxic rain” falling upon the North American continent could “theoretically” destroy all microbial life to any depth it reaches resulting in an “unimaginable environmental catastrophe” destroying all life forms from the “bottom of the evolutionary chart to the top”.

Note: For molecules of a liquid to evaporate, they must be located near the surface, be moving in the proper direction, and have sufficient kinetic energy to overcome liquid-phase intermolecular forces. Only a small proportion of the molecules meet these criteria, so the rate of evaporation is limited. Since the kinetic energy of a molecule is proportional to its temperature, evaporation proceeds more quickly at higher temperatures.

As over 50 miles of the US State of Louisiana’s coastline has already been destroyed by this spill, American scientists are warning that the damage may be impossible to repair, and as we can read as reported by the Associated Press News Service:

“The gooey oil washing into the maze of marshes along the Gulf Coast could prove
impossible to remove, leaving a toxic stew lethal to fish and wildlife,
government officials and independent scientists said. Officials are considering
some drastic and risky solutions: They could set the wetlands on fire or flood
areas in hopes of floating out the oil. They warn an aggressive cleanup could
ruin the marshes and do more harm than good."

And to understand the full import of this catastrophe it must be remembered that this disaster is occurring in what is described as the “biologically richest waters in America” with the greatest amount of oil and toxic Corexit 9500 set to come ashore in the coming days and weeks to destroy it completely for decades to come.

Reports are also coming from the United States that their government is secretly preparing to evacuate tens-of-millions of their citizens from their Gulf of Mexico States should the most dire of these scientific warnings start to come true.

To the greatest lesson to be learned by these Americans is that their government-oil industry cabal has been just as destructive to them as their government-banking one, both of which have done more to destroy the United States these past couple of years than any foreign enemy could dare dream was possible.

In 2003, Chinese scientists at the Shanghai Second Medical University fused human cells with rabbit embryos, according to National Geographic News. The embryos were given several days to develop before the scientists destroyed them to harvest stem cells.

According to the report, researchers at the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota were able to create pigs with human blood flowing through their bodies in 2004.

'Scientists feel that, the more humanlike the animal, the better research model it makes for testing drugs or possibly growing 'spare parts,' such as livers, to transplant into humans,' National Geographic reported. 'Watching how human cells mature and interact in a living creature may also lead to the discoveries of new medical treatments.

'Biotechnology activist Jeremy Rifkin told the magazine, 'One doesn't have to be religious or into animal rights to think this doesn't make sense. It's the scientists who want to do this. They've now gone over the edge into the pathological domain.'

In 2005, New York scientist Stuart Newman sought a patent on a on a process to combine human embryo cells with cells from the embryo of a monkey, ape or other animal. The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office rejected his request, according to the Washington Post, because the hybrid 'would be too closely related to a human to be patentable.'

"The Post reported Stanford University biologist Irving Weissman helped other scientists make hybrid rodents, including mice that have up to 1 percent human brain cells in their skulls.

Also, a researcher at the University of Nevada at Reno, Esmail Zanjani, successfully grew mostly human livers in sheep. His goal was to make the humanized livers available for transplant in people.

In 2008, British scientists produced human-animal hybrid embryos by inserting human DNA from a skin cell into a hollowed-out cow embryo. 'An electric shock then induced the hybrid embryo to grow,' London's Guardian reported. 'The embryo, 99.9 percent human and 0.1 percent other animal, grew for three days, until it had 32 cells.'"

Claims range from announcing that they are one of the end-time "Two Witnesses" to predicting thedate for Christ’s return; from wrongly identifying the future King of the North, King of the South, or the Kings from the East; to declaring that the four horsemen of the Apocalypse have already been released! What is the truth? Who can you believe? How can you test the prophets?

Scripture warns that in the latter times false prophets will abound! Scripture calls them hypocrites and liars, influenced by demons and deceiving spirits (1 Timothy 4:1–2).

As we approach the end of the age, many self-appointed ministers, prophets and apostles are making wild and competing assertions. The Red Horse

Prophecy is indeed moving rapidly forward. Terrible earthquakes, storms and other natural disasters abound. Religious strife, economic calamity, famine and immorality are spreading. Nuclear weapons proliferation and terrorism thrive. War rhetoric continues to escalate. The United States is increasingly seeing nations such as China, Venezuela, Russia, and North Korea as potential adversaries.

Briefly consider Iran. Apparently determined to develop nuclear weapons and continuing to threaten not only Israel and America, but also Europe, President Ahmadinejad is calling the September 11, 2001 attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon "a big lie" and a pretext for the war on terror (Associated Press, "Iran’s Ahmadinejad: Sept. 11 attacks a ‘big lie’," March 6, 2010).

Iran’s belligerent stance has caused German Chancellor Angela Merkel to demand "tough sanctions" and to say that "the European Union would take action by itself if UN sanctions did not get passed" ("Merkel Calls on Russia and China to Support Tougher Sanctions", Der Spiegel, February 25, 2010). Likewise, Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak has for months been calling for increased pressure on Iran and has said that Egypt rejects Iran’s actions ("Mubarak: Iran nuke program must be treated like Israel," Jerusalem Post, January 27, 2010).

God’s true Church understands the prophetic implications of representatives of the coming European King of the North, and the Arab King of the South galvanizing against Iran—which is modern Persia, is east of Jerusalem, and is not the King of the South.

It could seem that the second seal; the red horse of war, in Revelation 6 has been opened. Many claim it has. Has it? Will you use Scripture to "test the spirits, whether they are of God" (1 John 4:1)?

The Olivet Prophecy Framework

Jesus Christ is the Revelator (Revelation 1:1). And Scripture records Christ at the Mount of Olives revealing detailed information about events that will immediately precede His Second Coming. Jesus’ Olivet Prophecy, recorded in Matthew 24, reveals the same sequence of events as found in Revelation:

Great religious deception (vv. 4–5). This is the deadly militant religious persecution found in Revelation 6:2. This is the first seal and the "White Horse."
Regional, national and ethnic wars will explode (vv. 4–5). This is second seal and the "Red Horse" of Revelation 6:4.
Terrible famine and starvation will sweep the earth (v. 7). This is the third seal and the "Black Horse" of Revelation 6:5–6.
Disease and death will sweep the earth (v. 7). This is the fourth seal and "Pale Horse" of Revelation 6:8.

After these four seals is the fifth seal—the Great Tribulation (Matthew 24:21). Then the sixth seal—the "Heavenly Signs" (v. 29). This is followed by the Day of the Lord and Christ’s triumphant return (vv. 30–31).

There have always been harbingers of the four horsemen. But, the end-time seals are opened in a specific order within a timeframe of just over 3½ years. And, there are very specific events associated with each seal. The first five seals of Revelation, outlined in Revelation 6, cover just over 2 1⁄2 years. The sixth seal then introduces the year-long prophetic period known as the Day of the Lord.

While end-time conditions are now rapidly coalescing, it is important to understand prophecy accurately. Many people understand some prophecy and mix that with much error. But 2 Peter 1:19 demands that a scripturally accurate understanding of prophecy is one sign of God’s true Church!

The White Horse Must Ride First!

The first seal releases intensified religious deception and a militant false religious movement. The "mother of harlots" (Revelation 17) will lead this movement and she will persecute the saints (v. 6). But first, the "mother church" must gather her wayward daughters (Isaiah 47:8).

Recent decrees such as Anglicanorum Coetibus are long-prophesied and tremendously important movements designed to bring Anglicans, Orthodox and Protestants back under Roman Catholic supremacy (Catholic News Agency, February 1, 2010). Scripture reveals that after this brief reconciliation, this system’s destruction will come suddenly (Isaiah 47:9).

Additionally, at the time of the first seal, a brazen and satanically powerful false religious leader will arise (2 Thessalonians 2:4). This man will have supernatural power to deceive. He will have the ability to perform great miracles such as causing fire to come down out of the sky (Revelation 13:13–14)! He will present himself as the leader of the entire Christian church, and even go on to demand to be worshiped as God!

For a brief time near the end of this age, as God’s true Church has long understood, this great "mother church" will temporarily manipulate ("ride") the end-time European Beast power (Revelation 13:4–7; 17:1–7) which will crush the modern Israelitish countries immediately before Christ’s return. A ten-nation (or ten-kingdom) "United States of Europe"—essentially within the bounds of the old Roman Empire—will be under the sway of the Roman Church as it carries out its prophesied end-time activities.

Yes, it is clear that events are rapidly accelerating to usher in the end of this age and Christ’s return. But, it is also clear that the final false prophet has not yet been revealed. This is one of many reasons we know that, at this time, neither the first nor second seals have yet been opened.

Prove All Things

Many people need to test the spirits, "because many false prophets have gone out into the world" (1 John 4:1). Others, who became afflicted with "itching ears" need to return to the sound doctrine they once knew and stop listening to pompous deceivers masquerading as ministers of Christ (2 Timothy 4:3–4)!

Each of us must prove all these things (1 Thessalonians 5:21, KJV) well before the seals are opened! We must turn away from self-appointed prophets and false ministers and prove from our Bibles who is faithfully teaching the Truth in power while that faithful Church may still be found (Amos 8:11)!

God has preserved a faithful Church that perseveres in keeping His commandments (Revelation 3:10), is zealously doing a worldwide Work (Mark 16:15), and has "a more sure word of prophecy" (2 Peter 1:19, KJV)!

Have you proven where that Church is? Have you "crucified" your carnal will to Christ (Galatians 2:20) to now live by faith within the body of Christ where there is no schism (1 Corinthians 12:25)?

Speculations abound regarding the fate of the EU and the euro, and there is increasing concern that one or both could fail. The U.S. bank, Morgan Stanley warns “…that the Greek debt crisis is setting off a chain of events that may prompt German withdrawal from the eurozone” (Telegraph, April 15, 2010). “The former Governor of the Bank of Israel, Prof. Yaakov Frenkel, predicts a possible collapse of the Euro within the next three years” (IsraelNationalNews.com, May 2, 2010).

Swiss economics professor, Franz Jaeger, predicts there is only one way left out of the euro-crisis: The currency must be split in two! He envisions a stronger “northern euro” to serve the nations in Northern and Western Europe, while a weaker “southern euro” would serve the Southern European nations. Professor Jaeger sees eight nations in each of the southern and northern euro zones (Bild am Sonntag, May 2, 2010).

These predictions all fit with the opinion of many EU experts—there will be a two-speed or two-tiered Europe, with the stronger and more financially stable core of nations pulling ahead. Such a realignment of European nations could eventually result in the prophesied ten-kingdom power of Daniel 2 and Revelation 17.

The Bible states that this political power will consist of “10 kings” who willingly “give their power and authority to the beast” for a short time (Revelation 17:12-13).

Consider these figures. The current size of the American economy is roughly $14 trillion. As of this writing, the federal government's total public debt stands at nearly $13 trillion.

In its first midsession review, the White House Office of Management and Budget estimated that at the end of 2010, the national debt will breach the $14-trillion mark. This means that America's sovereign debt will be soon equal to the annual output of our economy. In other words, our national debt will shortly reach 100 percent of GDP. History and experience show that most governments that assume such levels of debt are ultimately not able to contain them. In most cases, this kind of situation eventually leads to the disintegration of the country's monetary regime and the collapse of its currency.

This outcome is not inevitable, given that -- in theory, at least -- a debt of 100 percent of GDP is still manageable. But to bring things under control would require strict fiscal discipline.

Unfortunately, there no indication that our federal government can muster any. Quite the contrary. Last year the federal budget deficit reached a record $1.4 trillion. At nearly 10 percent of GDP, this was the highest peacetime deficit in history. Despite the numerous assurances that the 2009 shortfall was a one-off event brought on by the financial crisis, this year's deficit will go even higher. According to the analysis submitted by the Congressional Budget Office last month, it will climb to $1.5 trillion. This will amount to 10.3 percent of GDP.

There is every reason to believe that the deficit will grow even faster in the years to come, as the federal government further increases its involvement in health care. The estimates by the Office of the Management and Budget which we quoted above do not factor in the costs associated with the recently passed health care reform. Even the more conservative estimates project that the legislation will cost well over one trillion during the program's first ten years. It is almost certain, however, that this figure is grossly understated, as government programs have a tendency to exceed their initial cost projections by grotesque multiples.

This, however, is not the worst of it, because the national debt represents only a relatively small portion of our government's total financial obligations. The far greater bulk is made up of long-term liabilities inherent in entitlement programs. According to the latest estimates by the Dallas Federal Reserve, the combined liabilities of Medicare, Social Security, and Medicaid amount to an astounding $104 trillion.

When we add the national debt and entitlements together, we get a figure of some $117trillion. This figure represents the amount of money the federal government will have to come up with in the years ahead in order to discharge its obligations.

The sheer magnitude of this number makes it difficult to grasp. To give a sense of scale, it is about twice the current economic output of the whole world. It is also more than eight times the size of the American economy. With today's tax revenues it would take more than fifty-five years to pay for these obligations. This assumes there is no interest on the debt and that the federal government spends no money on anything else.

There is only one conclusion that reasonably can be drawn on the basis of these figures: The American federal government is simply not in the position to make good on its obligations.

There is a growing recognition of this fact. When discussing America's national debt in his lecture at the Mises Institute, the noted financial analyst Peter Schiff said this:

We're not going to pay the Chinese back their money. It's impossible. We can't.
We can't possibly

Given the figures, Schiff only stated the obvious.

Sooner or later, our government's ability to finance deficit spending with low yield bonds will come to an end. Deprived of the source of cheap cash and pressed by the need to meet its vast array payments, the government will be left with two options: It will either have to default, or it can seek to meet the payment schedules by creating new money.

Given the dollar's status as the world's reserve currency, default would be a cataclysmic global event that would result in the disintegration of the world's financial system. Needless to say, this kind of calamity would bring about the dollar's sudden collapse with ruinous consequences for the American people.

The second option -- paying its outstanding bills with new money -- looks initially more attractive. On this scenario government would discharge its liabilities with freshly created dollars. This is actually the most likely course our government will take, since money creation is the route that over-leveraged governments usually take in an effort to service their excessive obligations.

At first sight this may seem like an easy way out, but it has bad consequences down the line. As the government pumps new dollars into the system, the value of the money stock is diluted and inflation occurs. In light of the enormous depth of our indebtedness, inflation will in the end eat away most of the dollar's value.

It should be noted that inflation is really only default in disguise. On the inflationary scenario, creditors will only get paid back a portion of their original investment while entitlement beneficiaries will only receive a portion of the value of their promised benefits.

Whichever of the two possible options our government chooses to pursue, the final result will be currency destruction. Outright default would result in the dollar's immediate collapse, while inflation would produce a more gradual decline, at least initially. Needless to say, given the immense weight of the government' financial burden, the inflationary route will ultimately wipe out most of the greenback's worth. Either way, we will end up with a greatly debased, if not completely worthless, currency and all the painful repercussions inherent in that downfall.

To put it bluntly, the dollar's days are numbered and its demise is inevitable. Anyone who still hopes there may be a way around it, must answer that ultimate money question: Where in the world is the American federal government going to get $117 trillion?

Zimbabwe. Iceland. Greece. Is America next? The growing weight of an overwhelming national debt combined with at least twenty lethal, economic “trigger mechanisms” has created a financial “nuclear time-bomb” for America. And, as the world just witnessed in Greece, debt can devastate a nation..

Discussing the massive Greek financial bailout, the Financial Times reported that, “The moves highlighted the potential that the Greek crisis – the result of too large a debt load and expectations that it may default or have to restructure that debt – could spread and have knock-on effects on the global economy.” The article continued to point out that according to one currency strategist, the “contagion is worsening” (“IMF looks at offering Greece more cash”, April 28, 2010).

Considering America’s size and growing isolation, U.S. debt problems appear monstrous compared to those of Greece. Is America next? Will the world help? Will the world be able to help?

With recent stock market gains, most of the media have been ignoring the tougher and more structural issues confronting the U.S. economy. However, the Wall Street Journal recently ran a bold commentary itemizing twenty destructive economic issues and stated that “all 20 are inexorably linked, a house-of-cards, a circular firing squad destined to self-destruct, triggering the third great Wall Street meltdown of the 21st century, igniting the Great Depression II” (MarketWatch, “20 reasons Global Debt Time Bomb explodes soon,” February 2, 2010).

But beyond these twenty trigger mechanisms is another “trigger mechanism” that most economists overlook – God is removing His blessings from a lawless, idolatrous and thankless nation! How could the removal of God’s blessings bring about terrible economic consequences?

Massive “natural disasters” reminiscent of Mark 13:8 seem to be growing more frequent every month. In addition to the horrible destruction and loss of life, these tragedies are economically devastating. The European aviation sector alone lost more than $3.3 billion dollars from the relatively small volcanic eruption (Associated Press, “EU moves to help aviation heal $3.3 billion losses,” April 27, 2010). What would be the consequences if the U.S. Yellowstone Caldera, or the Indonesian Lake Toba Caldera erupted? It is nearly unfathomable!

Jeremiah 17:1-4 explains that national punishment is the eventual result of national sins and false religion.　 Ultimately, this punishment will lead to our wealth, and even our people being given “as plunder” to foreign nations (vv. 3-4). Furthermore, this tragic collapse will happen suddenly and when many do not expect it (Isaiah 1:7, Habakkuk 2:7, I Thessalonians 5:3).　

America has mostly ignored the recent collapses of economies such as Zimbabwe, Iceland and now Greece, but economic laws are constant…and unforgiving…and these countries hold clues relevant to America’s future. Currently, Greece is being forced to accept very “austere” measures as a condition for its economic bailout. Interestingly, it is Germany who is at the forefront of making these demands (Reuters, “New Austerity a precondition for Greek aid: Germany,” April 25, 2010). Indeed “the borrower is servant to the lender” (Proverbs 22:7).

Millennia ago, God warned of the consequences of debt and greed: “Will not your creditors rise up suddenly? Will they not awaken who oppress you? And you will become their booty. Because you have plundered many nations, all the remnant of the people shall plunder you…” (Habakkuk 2:6-8).

Indeed, because of modern Jacob’s greed and sin, end-time Israel is prophesied to serve its enemies, “in need of everything” (Deuteronomy 28:47-48) until it is ultimately overwhelmed by a European beast power (Daniel 2:40-41, Jeremiah 30:7-8) just before Christ’s return (Revelation 17:14).

A baby boy abandoned by doctors to die after a botched abortion was found alive nearly a day later

The 22-week infant died one day later in intensive care at a hospital in the mother's home town of Rossano in southern Italy.

The mother, pregnant for the first time, had opted for an abortion after prenatal scans suggested that her baby was disabled.

However, the infant survived the procedure, carried out on Saturday in the Rossano Calabro hospital, and was left by doctors to die.

He was discovered alive the following day – some 20 hours after the operation – by Father Antonio Martello, the hospital chaplain, who had gone to pray beside his body.

He found that the baby, wrapped in a sheet with his umbilical cord still attached, was moving and breathing.

The priest raised the alarm and doctors immediately arranged for the infant to be taken to a specialist neo-natal unit at the neighbouring Cosenza hospital, where he died on Monday morning...

"Satan’s secret society and true Christianity"

Secret societies such as the Trilateral Commission, the Bilderbergers, the Illuminati, the Burschenschaft, and Opus Dei, are favorite topics of talk radio, Internet sites, books and movies. From blockbuster movies such as “Enemy of the State” and “Angels and Demons” to “Doomsday 2012: End of Days,” from talk radio hosts such as Michael Savage and Glenn Beck to Alex Jones, society is fascinated by conspiracy theories and the clandestine organizations supposedly manipulating the masses.

Is one-world government coming? Are governments and pharmaceuticals spreading autism, AIDS and other diseases to make profits now and create a weakened and subservient population later? Was the economic crisis engineered? Are secret societies and conspiracy theories real?

Conspiracy theories and secret societies are nothing new. Freemasons can be traced back to the early 1700s in England. The Knights Templar precedes the Freemasons and has existed since the Crusades, around 1118-1129.

But thousands of years ago, around 2200 B.C. the mother of all secret societies took root. This is the “conspiracy theory” that really matters, because this is a secret society controlled by none other than Satan, and this is the most powerful secret society on the planet!

While conspiracy theories make for interesting talk radio and sell books and movies, let us remember that the ultimate enemy is Satan the Devil! And while many people debate “clandestine organizations,” the biggest clandestine organization continues to thrive in plain sight with billions of unwitting accomplices! It is the secret society of false religion with roots that go back more than 4000 years, and its real leader is the Devil.

Satan’s secret society precedes Nimrod, but with Nimrod his system began to take the human shape that has persisted to this day. Vestiges of this false religious system have spread to every continent and have influenced every culture.

Babylonian king Nimrod was a powerful leader. But, he was opposed to God. The name Nimrod comes from marad meaning “he who rebelled.” Upon Nimrod’s death, he was deified by his widow, Semiramis, who claimed that Nimrod was reborn as her son Tammuz. Semiramis and her priests then invented many rituals to worship her as the “mother of god,” and her son as a god. Rituals ranging from mother-of-god worship, to sunrise services, to the winter solstice festival can be traced back to pre-Christian times and ultimately to ancient Babylon. Even the ancient Israelites adopted some of these pagan customs. Ezekiel 8:16 shows ancient Israel worshiping the sun in the east, and God calls this precursor to our modern “sunrise services” an abomination (v. 17).

This Babylonish system is the ultimate secret society of which Satan is the head. It is the “mother of harlots” that has influenced all nations and all world religion (Revelation 17:5), which we are warned to “come out of” (Revelation 18:4).

A true Christian should keep conspiracy theories in their proper context. Speaking of ancient Israel’s Assyrian captivity, but also prophesying of God removing His protection from modern Jacob and our coming national affliction, Isaiah 8:6-14 warns that people will “Take counsel together, but it will come to nothing” (v. 10), and that the people should not say “a conspiracy” is overtaking them. Instead, God Himself will become “a stone of stumbling and a rock of offense to both the houses of Israel” (v. 14).

Not all conspiracies are real. But Satan is real. He continues to use human instruments and organizations, including false religion, to mislead the nations, to cause confusion and suffering, and to bring the world closer to confrontation with the returning King of kings (Revelation 19:19). Instead of focusing on conspiracy theories, we need to turn to true, original Christianity!

As the Vatican reels from scandal, even some Catholic priests are now demanding the Pope’s resignation (BostonHerald.com, “W. Mass. priest calls for pope to resign,” April 12, 2010). When scandal or political turmoil reaches a boiling point, what should a church … or a nation do?

Beyond the Roman Catholic sex-abuse scandal, the news is full of additional coups and political intrigue. State and religious governments around the world are in turmoil.

Thailand teeters on the brink of civil war (BBCNews.com, April 12, 2010). The government of Kyrgyzstan fell just last week, and deposed President Kurmanbek Bakijev is threatening that “any attempt to kill him [by the new, opposition government] would ‘drown Kyrgyzstan in blood’” (Reuters, April 11, 2010).

In Nigeria mass ethnic killings have swept the northern part of the country, prompting Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi to suggest breaking up the nation in an attempt to quell the bloodletting (BBCNews.com, April 7, 2010). And, of course, the Roman Catholic Church is vociferously denying rumors of Vatican “plots” against the Pope, and that “the pope is alone and that the Vatican is a nest of vipers” (Reuters, April 12, 2010), all while doctrinally disaffected Anglicans and Episcopalians contemplate leaving their fellowships to possibly join the Catholics!

What a mess! But this is nothing new. Humanity has continuously suffered from scandal and wrong government throughout the millennia. When will nations and churches learn the blessings of proper godly government?

Proper, godly government brings peace. Proper godly government has always called for leaders to be appointed by God’s true servants and under His direct guidance (Exodus 18:21- 22, Luke 6:12-13, Titus 1:5). Christ’s opinion on proper government has always been, is now, and always will be the same (Hebrews 13:8). In the coming Kingdom of God, it will be no different.

In the coming Kingdom of God, Jesus Christ will not permit oppression, rebellion or political coups. Likewise, He will not seek a majority opinion in our churches or our nations to elect leaders. He will not ask the “Elector Cardinals” to cast their secret ballots for the next Pope, as they recite the required chant: “I call as my witness Christ the Lord who will be my judge, that my vote is given to the one who before God I think should be elected.” Christ does not care who “we think” should be elected. Instead, He will appoint who He knows is qualified, and those righteous rulers will not be removed!

Christ will appoint ancient King David as king over all Israel (Ezekiel 37:24, Hosea 3:5). The twelve Apostles will be appointed kings (Matthew 19:28). Other righteous patriarchs such as Daniel, Noah and Job (Ezekiel 14:14, 20) will also have positions of great responsibility. And, the Saints who down through the ages have been obedient and faithful will also be appointed as kings and priests within His government. Together, Christ and His Saints will then rule the earth in love, and according to godly law (Isaiah 65:25, John 5:22-29, Revelation 5:9-10; 20:6).

While discussing the Vatican’s scandals may be scintillating, the more important point is that man’s approach to government continues to fail!

What should the Pope or the nations do? The answer is the same thing that all of us should do; each of us should prayerfully strive to “live by every word of God” (Luke 4:4), asking God to guide our lives in every way. If we humbly do this, then, at His return, we will be “found by Him in peace, without spot and blameless” (2 Peter 3:14).

For some, this may require painful repentance of wrong ideas. But, without true repentance, we will not inherit eternal life (Luke 13:3, Acts 3:19).

"The special force, which is the new name being given to the 1st Brigade Combat Team of the 3rd Infantry, has been training at Fort Stewart, Georgia and is composed of 80,000 troops.

According to the Army Times,

They may be called upon to help with civil unrest and crowd control or to deal with potentially horrific scenarios such as massive poisoning and chaos in response to a chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear or high-yield explosive, or CBRNE, attack.

The key phrase is 'may be called upon to help with civil unrest.'

This afternoon a local radio talk show host reported that he had been in contact with a member of the military. This military source stated that the armed forces have been alerted to the strong possibility that civil unrest may occur in the United States this summer, prior to the midterm elections of 2010"...

It is highly unlikely that these citizens would ever initiate armed conflict of any kind. In their view, gun rights are for self-defense--and for defense against tyrannical government, which our Founders regarded as the most dangerous force on earth.

However, it has become clear that other groups may well initiate violence in order to start an 'incident' that would give Obama and a rogue Congress a reason to implement martial law, confiscate the citizens' guns, enforce curfews, and suspend all future elections until such time as it is deemed 'safe' to proceed with human liberty as encapsulated in the right to vote."...

"Tea Party members, for example, have been warned in recent days that members of Andy Stern's SEIU union and members of the organization formerly known as ACORN plan to infiltrate Tea Party gatherings in order to incite some sort of incident that could result in armed conflict.

In addition, all indications point to a humiliating defeat for the Democrats and Obama in November. Not only will the House in all likelihood transfer to Republican control, but it is increasingly possible for the Democrats to lose the Senate as well.

And there are Leftwing groups in this country that would use whatever means necessary to prevent that from happening.

ACORN has already gone underground, changing its name so as to fly beneath the radar screen. How many people will the group register to vote illegally?

And with Obama's plan to naturalize between 10 and 20 million illegal aliens, a brand new voter base for the Democrats will be in place prior to November.

Add to this the growing unrest over continued high unemployment, the coming spike in interest rates and inflation, and the still-boiling outrage over the manner in which Obama and the Democrats shoved ObamaCare down the throats of the citizens, and all of the ingredients are present for a major F-5 tornado to sweep across the heartland.

To what extent would soldiers use deadly force during such 'civil unrest' should the Consequence Management Response Team be utilized? During the anti-war riots of the 1960s they killed student protesters. What about now?"...

"Recently, the owner of a private Bed and Breakfast refused service to a homosexual couple. She claimed it was “against her convictions” to allow two men to share a bed in her house. Although the woman says she was not rude, she now faces possible criminal charges for violating the Equality Act.

While she is shocked that the government could dictate to her what she is allowed to tolerate in her own home, many people were shocked at her display of “homophobia” (BBC, March 21, 2010).

The Bible clearly reveals that homosexual acts are sinful (Leviticus 18:22 and Romans 1:27) and should not be encouraged by individuals or governments. This is one of the many signs that Israelite nations are modern day examples of Sodom and Gomorrah (Ezekiel 16:44-59).
While God commands His people to “come out of sin,” (2 Corinthians 6:17), our modern society appears determined to move as far away from God’s laws as possible!"

Easter’s five fatal flaws :
Living Church of God: Commentary:

Millions of sincere Christians will soon attend Easter sunrise services supposedly celebrating the resurrection of Jesus. However, one of Satan’s greatest deceptions (Revelation 12:9) is in deceiving sincere people into worshiping a false Jesus on Easter Sunday! Easter Sunday does not honor Jesus. In fact, celebrating Easter greatly displeases Him, as do all idolatrous and heathen practices (Isaiah 1:14)!

Do you unknowingly worship a false Jesus? Do you plan to participate in Easter sunrise worship services this year, which are rooted in what your Bible calls "abominable" paganism? If you really love Jesus, then you should not.

Let us briefly review five fatal flaws of Easter:

1) Jesus was not resurrected Sunday morning. A careful study of Scripture reveals that Jesus was in the tomb exactly three days and three nights as He promised He would be. To deny this is to reject Christ’s one and only claim to be the Messiah (Matthew 12:39-40)! Jesus died on a Wednesday afternoon, just before the "annual Sabbath" known as the first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread. He was buried and then resurrected 72 hours later, just before the end of the weekly Sabbath (near the end of the day, Saturday).

2) Sunrise worship services are indeed found in your Bible, and they are condemned as pagan “abominations” to God. Sunrise worship was an integral part of the Babylonish Mystery Religion and was core in worshipping Semiramis and her infant son, Tammuz. Semiramis claimed that Tammuz was Nimrod reborn as the Messiah. Later, Semiramis was represented as the goddess Astarte (or Ishtar), the “queen of heaven.”

Read Ezekiel 8:14-16 where the glory of the Lord shows the ancient Israelites committing an “abomination” by “weeping for Tammuz” during sunrise worship services (v. 16)! Worship of Semiramis (“the mother of god”) and Tammuz (a counterfeit Messiah) continues today in the form of Easter Sunrise services.

3) Your Bible sternly condemns anyone who adopts pagan practices, regardless whether or not someone claims that they keep these customs “to honor Jesus.” Jeremiah 10:2 commands us to “Learn not the way of the heathen” and 2 Thessalonians 2:15 demands that we do not follow the “traditions of men.”

4) Claiming we somehow “honor” Jesus by pagan practice simply defies common sense and sound reason. Analogies are rarely entirely adequate, but consider this question. If you knew that your human father enjoyed steak and potatoes as a special dinner … and that he hated ham sandwiches … but you refused to make steak and potatoes for him and instead kept making him ham sandwiches … could a rational person really argue that you are honoring or loving your human father by continually trying to serve him ham sandwiches?

God has shown how He wants to be worshipped through His weekly Sabbath and annual biblical Holy Days. Yet while perhaps well-intended, many supposed Christians and supposed Christian ministers and priests reject God’s Holy Days and claim to show their love to their Lord and their Heavenly Father by continually trying to serve Him with what He calls revolting, pagan and abominable! Jesus asks these people, “Why do you call Me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not the things which I say?” (Luke 6:46).

5) Finally, 1 Corinthians 6:9 and Revelation 22:15 condemn those who practice these pagan and idolatrous customs as not being allowed in the Kingdom of God!

"This is an admonition God’s Church has made for decades, and now we are starting to see why. “The Temple Mount Institute has filed suit in its fight for the right to sacrifice a sheep on the Temple Mount prior to Passover, as commanded in the Torah.” Citing equal access rights to the Temple Mount, the Institute notes discriminatory actions by the Israeli police. Muslims retain the right to worship according to their customs, while Jews, who also view the Temple Mount as holy, are forced to limit their religious activities (IsraelNationalNews.com, March 18, 2010)."

Although the Temple Mount Institute will likely not be granted the opportunity to offer sacrifices on the Temple Mount prior to the Passover, there is increasing pressure to allow equal access to worship on the Temple Mount. As America appears to be curtailing its relationship with Israel, the EU and the Catholic Church are “building” their relationships with Israel.

One of the clear signs of the end of the age, indicating Christ’s imminent return, is the cessation of Temple sacrifices. The sacrifices will apparently cease half-way through a seven-year treaty between many nations, and will be involved in triggering the beginning of the Great Tribulation (Daniel 9:27; 12:11).

In order for sacrifices to cease, they must first begin—and events appear to be moving in this direction!

Well, the deed is done. President Obama’s progressive health care plan is passed.

There are many givens in all of this. The plan is incredibly expensive, and among those things that are theoretically going to reduce its cost is a previously imaginary beast: government efficiency.

It isn’t partisan to say that the idea that our government will actually be able to add efficiency and reduce waste is a dubious one at best. The most honest of minds that I have read recognize that the plan is going to be terribly, terribly expensive — and at a time when we our debt is reaching truly frightening levels. Those nations to whom we owe money will certainly be paying attention.

There are also a number of questions. While individual positions differed (as they always will), much more of the American people felt the health care bill was a bad idea than a good one. Even many of those who wanted to change the status quo didn’t like this bill. Many were disgusted with the legislative bribes in the bill and with the catering to those with political connection in opposition to the will of the “unconnected” populous. Many were also frustrated with the lack of transparency of the process" ...

Also, the constitutionality of some of the provisions is surely going to be attacked. For instance, the Constitution of the United States — which defines the powers of federal authority — nowhere gives Congress the authority to require Americans to purchase a product, such as, in this case, insurance. The States have long enjoyed that authority" ...

However, the Constitution is always at the mercy of how it is interpreted by the current U.S. Supreme Court (since the vows to uphold the Constitution has long become a trivial consideration), so the final shape of all of this remains to be seen."...

A new congressional report released Friday says the United States' long-term fiscal woes are even worse than predicted by President Barack Obama's grim budget submission last month.

The nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office predicts that Obama's budget plans would generate deficits over the upcoming decade that would total $9.8 trillion. That's $1.2 trillion more than predicted by the administration.

The agency says its future-year predictions of tax revenues are more pessimistic than the administration's. That's because CBO projects slightly slower economic growth than the White House.

The deficit picture has turned alarmingly worse since the recession that started at the end of 2007, never dipping below 4 percent of the size of the economy over the next decade. Economists say that deficits of that size are unsustainable and could put upward pressure on interest rates, crowd out private investment in the economy and ultimately erode the nation's standard of living.

Still, the Feb. 1 White House budget plan was a largely stand-pat document that avoided difficult decisions on curbing the unsustainable growth of federal benefit programs like the Medicare health care program for the elderly and Medicaid, which provides health care to the poor and disabled.

Instead, Obama has created an 18-member fiscal reform commission that's charged with coming up with a plan to shrink the deficit to 3 percent of the economy within five years. But the Republicans to be named to the panel by congressional GOP leaders are unlikely to go along with any tax increases that might be proposed, which could ensure election-year gridlock."

While the president is intent on ramming through Congress a new trillion-dollar health-care entitlement, he appears far less concerned with addressing the looming crisis of entitlement spending already on the books,' said Rep. Paul Ryan of Wisconsin, the top Republican on the Budget Committee.

'Instead, he delegates this task to a 'Fiscal Commission' — which would not even report until after the next election.

"'The long-term goal is the establishment of a European army under full parliamentary control.

'The European Union must live up to its political role as a global player. It must be able to manage crises independently. It must be able to respond quickly, flexibly and to take a united stand,' he said.

'We want strong European crisis management. This is not intended to replace other security structures. More Europe is not a strategy directed against anyone. No one has any reason to fear Europe, but everyone should be able to depend on Europe,' he added.

He said however that this would require a pooling of resources and distribution of responsibility 'even in times of ever scarcer means.'

Addressing the idea of civility, he said it actually has improved of late: "We haven't seen any canings on the floor of the Senate any time recently."

But the president whose party when it held a majority in the U.S. House and a so-called supermajority of 60 votes in the U.S. Senate pushed for its agenda items without, at times, even consulting the minority GOP, said, "At times, it seems like we're unable to listen to one another; to have at once a serious and civil debate."

He said such "erosion of civility in the public square" produces "division and distrust among our citizens."...

"Stretching out of our dogmas, our prescribed roles along the political spectrum, that can help us regain a sense of civility," Obama saida today.

Raising the issue of his longstanding support for homosexual causes, he said, "We may disagree about gay marriage, but surely we can agree that it is unconscionable to target gays and lesbians for who they are…"

Obama pushed hard for and signed into a law that gives homosexuals special protections against "hate," a law that, according to the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights, is a "menace" to civil liberties.

Obama also chose to honor as a "civil rights pioneer" a homosexual who said the God of the Bible is a "sinful, homophobic bigot" who needs to "seek forgiveness for the pain and suffering which his sinful homophobia has needlessly inflicted upon gay people for the past 4,000 years."

Western Civilization in moral decay?

Recent news articles have speculated about the “end of Western civilization.” Interestingly enough, as you read through those articles, the reasons put forth for the end of our way of life have stemmed from our lack of energy conservation awareness to our addiction to oil for our energy needs. Political issues, environmental issues, educational issues are all put forth as arenas for the salvation of mankind.

No discussion has been noted on the real source of our decline: moral decay.

God made promises to His servant Abraham. For his faithful service, God promised Abraham’s descendants material prosperity and success (Genesis 17-25). In recent centuries (beginning in 1800 AD and forward), God set His hand to give Abraham’s descendants those promised blessings.

God also predicted certain curses would come on His people if they ignored Him, flaunted His laws and rejected His supremacy in their lives. Deuteronomy 28 discusses those curses — and God’s list of the causes of the decline and apparently soon-coming fall of Western civilization are much different from what recent news media articles focus on.

Reading through Deuteronomy 28, verses 15 through 68, one sees the inevitable result of our choosing our own ways versus God’s ways – and it sounds like a description of what our Western societies face today. Floods in the Midwest, hurricanes in the South, drought in many parts of America – producing unheard of food shortages in a nation which has come to believe that prosperity is some kind of natural right. God is proving otherwise!

News media focus on social issues, climate change, recycling, environmental issues. They ignore moral issues. God tells us our problems are not social, environmental or political – our problems are wholly moral – man’s ways producing death, versus God’s ways producing blessings and life (Deuteronomy 28:1-14).

Modern man wants to do things his own way (Isaiah 58:13), yet demand the blessings of doing things God’s ways. It simply doesn’t work that way.

God reigns supreme in the universe, and there is only one way to receive the blessings of Deuteronomy 28 – obeying God’s laws and doing things His way, not our way!

Until man learns that lesson, the curses of Deuteronomy 28:15-68 will be our harvest for the choices we, as a society, make. God is not mocked; what He says will come to pass.

The problems of Western civilization are not just social, political, educational or economic – our problems are wholly moral ones!

Biblical prophecy predicts a time of severe trial and punishment coming upon the modern descendants of Jacob for their sins and rejection of God (Write for our booklet The United States and Great Britain in Prophecy to discover the modern identity of Israel, and how that relates to end-time prophecy).

Individuals can escape that judgment by turning to God and committing themselves to obeying Him and responding to His will. The choice is yours!

Israel, Germany hold historic joint cabinet meeting

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu arrived in Germany with top ministers on Monday for a historic joint cabinet meeting underlining the strong ties forged in the wake of the Holocaust.

The gathering of the two governments, the second ever after a similar meeting in Israel two years ago and the first on German soil, was to address issues such as Iran's nuclear drive and defence cooperation.

Netanyahu and German Chancellor Angela Merkel were also to hold bilateral talks focused on efforts to revive Middle East peace talks and face "threats to regional security," the prime minister's spokesman Mark Regev said.

The one-day visit to Berlin, where the bid to wipe out European Jewry was planned, is "designed to strengthen and expand the cooperation between Israel and Germany," Regev told AFP.

"There is a very special relationship between Berlin and Jerusalem," he said.

"We are focused on how to strengthen the relationship in order for there to be tangible cooperation today and in the future."

A German government spokesman said the meeting was a rare occurrence.

The sounds, the smells, the colorful lights and decorations; folks being thoughtful and remembering the poor, good feelings all around; what could possibly be wrong with any of this? Short days, cold, long nights can use some brightening up and some cheerful activities, so “Just leave me alone” the devotees to Christmas might say to those who decry the celebrations of the season.

“It’s for the children!” many say, as a defense for continuing the observance in the face of all the incriminating evidence against it. Some will say, “We are honoring Jesus Christ, our Savior, by observing this season regardless of its origins.” In actual fact, to put Christ into Christmas, you would have to hijack Him, since He was never anywhere in the observance, from its beginnings down to modern times.

This greatest of all the “Christian” holidays began in antiquity, as a pagan observance of the winter solstice, and has morphed into a quasi-religious observance that is really a great merchandising opportunity for merchants who cater to every whim, as people scramble to buy gifts for family, friends, and business associates. Surely, one can’t be against booming commerce which brings jobs and prosperity to so many people.

Then comes the day after the big celebration, when the reality of the credit buying binge crashes in on many families who financed their generosity with credit cards bearing high interest rates. Many heads ache from the over-indulgence in food and drink that would be unthinkable at other times of the year, but which is perfectly acceptable during this winter season. The stress and strain associated with all that goes on leading up to the climax of the observance takes a toll on many of the participants.

Still, you might be thinking, “If I’m willing to accept the responsibility and put up with all of this pressure to conform, why should anyone care? It’s nobody’s business but mine!” And, if you are not concerned about what the Bible has to say about the situation, you would be right. However, actions have consequences, which include the universally popular observance of Christmas.

Consider that the Bible says that truth is important. Notice John 8:32: “And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” I’m certain you are aware that one of the basic ten commandments given by God on Mt. Sinai concerned being truthful: “You shall not bear false witness” (Exodus 20:16). With that in mind, consider that Jesus Christ was not born on December 25th. So, the basic premise of the observance is based on an untruth – that’s right – a lie!

Another big part of the celebration, especially for children, is the Santa Claus tradition. I hate to be the one to break it to you, but there is no Santa Claus. It is a lie!

What does the Bible say about the fate of liars? It is not pretty. Revelation 21:8 states: “…all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”

Clinging to traditions is not new. Jesus dealt with the subject when He strongly corrected the Pharisees and Sadducees saying: “All too well you reject the commandment of God, that you may keep your tradition” (Mark 7:9). In another place, Jesus explained that paying lip service and using His name is not what is required. “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven” (Matthew 7:21). What is His will? That we worship him with sincerity and truth (1 Corinthians 5:8; cf., 1 Peter 1:22).

Christmas is not the only popular tradition or teaching that is not biblical. If you have the courage to face reality about many of the things taught by mainstream Christianity, then you will find our free booklet, Satan’s Counterfeit Christianity very helpful.

As you read this booklet you may find yourself saying with Scrooge, in the popular Christmas story, “A Christmas Carol” – “Bah! Humbug!”

Last chance in Jerusalem?

Is it the destiny of Europe to become more actively involved in the Middle East as events hurtle toward the climactic return of Jesus Christ? Will it begin to exercise a strong influence in the region of, and even militarily occupy, the Holy Land? Your Bible plainly affirms that this will be the case.

An interesting Euobserver.com article titled, “EU faces ‘last chance’ for peace in Israel”, offers an insight into what may be the beginnings of a more crucial role for Europe in the Middle East. In the article, Mr. Meir Margalit, a Jerusalem city councilor on the front lines of the mid-east peace process, states: “We have reached the last moment when it is still possible to divide and share Jerusalem. If it [decisive action] does not happen this year, it will become impossible to implement any plan like the two-state solution.” (emphasis mine) The leadership of Jerusalem is imploring the European Union to get involved in the political and geographical division of Jerusalem...

If this truly is the “last chance” for Jerusalem being divided into a Palestinian/Israeli state, and the hand of the European Union does stretch to exert “influence” in the region of Jerusalem, we are most certainly in momentous times, for the Bible speaks of a time when God says He “…will gather all the nations to battle against Jerusalem; the city shall be taken, the houses rifled, and the women ravished. Half of the city shall go into captivity…” (Zechariah 14:2, emphasis mine).

Take note of what is being said – half of Jerusalem’s inhabitants will be taken, and led away, into captivity. Other prophecies clearly state that captivity is coming for the modern day descendants of ancient Israel as well. You need to understand the identity of who these modern-day peoples are. The answer may shock you!

The armies gathered together, surrounding Jerusalem just before Christ’s return, will fight against Him in what men call the battle of Armageddon.

Sweden has drafted an EU plan to make east Jerusalem the future capital of the Palestinian Territory (Christian Science Monitor, December 1, 2009). However, significant negative feedback has led the EU to pull “back from a confrontation with Israel by dropping a call for east Jerusalem to be recognized as the future capital of a Palestinian state.” The draft now calls for the Palestinian territory to only “include” part of the city (Telegraph, December 8, 2009).

With tensions still high between Israel and the Palestinians, the EU appears intent on moving forward for peace in the region. Jerusalem has been at the heart of this conflict since its beginning, yet peace in Jerusalem appears a long way off.

God prophesied that, at the end of the age, Jerusalem would be a “cup of trembling” to the surrounding nations (Zechariah 12:2, KJV). Yet, at some point, military action will be taken by the King of the North to control the city (Daniel 11:30-31; Luke 21:20-24). This military occupation will ultimately last for 3.5 years (Revelation 11:2).

The real hope for true and lasting peace in the region will come when Christ returns to set up His world government in Jerusalem. In the meantime, we should all “pray for the peace of Jerusalem” and for the return of Christ to this special city (Psalm 122:6).

With the coming into force of the Lisbon Treaty on Tuesday 1 December, members of the European Parliament, who up to now have been “representatives of the peoples of the States brought together in the Community” (Art.189 TEC), become “representatives of the Union’s citizens” (Art.14 TEU).

This change in the status of MEPs is but one illustration of the constitutional revolution being brought about by the Lisbon Treaty.

For Lisbon, like the EU Constitution before it, establishes for the first time a European Union which is constitutionally separate from and superior to its Member States, just as the USA is separate from and superior to its 50 constituent states or as Federal Germany is in relation to its Länder."

It’s one of those numbers that’s so unbelievable you have to actually think about it for a while… Within the next 12 months, the U.S. Treasury will have to refinance $2 trillion in short-term debt. And that’s not counting any additional deficit spending, which is estimated to be around $1.5 trillion. Put the two numbers together. Then ask yourself, how in the world can the Treasury borrow $3.5 trillion in only one year? That’s an amount equal to nearly 30% of our entire GDP. And we’re the world’s biggest economy.

"How did we end up with so much short-term debt?

Like most entities that have far too much debt - whether subprime borrowers, GM, Fannie, or GE - the U.S. Treasury has tried to minimize its interest burden by borrowing for short durations and then “rolling over” the loans when they come due. As they say on Wall Street, “a rolling debt collects no moss.”

What they mean is, as long as you can extend the debt, you have no problem. Unfortunately, that leads folks to take on ever greater amounts of debt… at ever shorter durations… at ever lower interest rates.

Sooner or later, the creditors wake up and ask themselves: What are the chances I will ever actually be repaid? And that’s when the trouble starts. Interest rates go up dramatically. Funding costs soar. The party is over. Bankruptcy is next.

When governments go bankrupt it’s called “a default.” Currency speculators figured out how to accurately predict when a country would default.

Two well-known economists - Alan Greenspan and Pablo Guidotti - published the secret formula in a 1999 academic paper. That’s why the formula is called the Greenspan-Guidotti rule. The rule states: To avoid a default, countries should maintain hard currency reserves equal to at least 100% of their short-term foreign debt maturities.

The world’s largest money management firm, PIMCO, explains the rule this way: “The minimum benchmark of reserves equal to at least 100% of short-term external debt is known as the Greenspan-Guidotti rule. Greenspan-Guidotti is perhaps the single concept of reserve adequacy that has the most adherents and empirical support.”"

"The principle behind the rule is simple. If you can’t pay off all of your foreign debts in the next 12 months, you’re a terrible credit risk. Speculators are going to target your bonds and your currency, making it impossible to refinance your debts. A default is assured.

So how does America rank on the Greenspan-Guidotti scale? It’s a guaranteed default. The U.S. holds gold, oil, and foreign currency in reserve. The U.S. has 8,133.5 metric tonnes of gold (it is the world’s largest holder). That’s 16,267,000 pounds. At current dollar values, it’s worth around $300 billion. The U.S. strategic petroleum reserve shows a current total position of 725 million barrels. At current dollar prices, that’s roughly $58 billion worth of oil. And according to the IMF, the U.S. has $136 billion in foreign currency reserves. So altogether… that’s around $500 billion of reserves. Our short-term foreign debts are far bigger.

According to the U.S. Treasury, $2 trillion worth of debt will mature in the next 12 months. So looking only at short-term debt, we know the Treasury will have to finance at least $2 trillion worth of maturing debt in the next 12 months. That might not cause a crisis if we were still funding our national debt internally. But since 1985, we’ve been a net debtor to the world. Today, foreigners own 44% of all our debts, which means we owe foreign creditors at least $880 billion in the next 12 months - an amount far larger than our reserves."

"Keep in mind, this only covers our existing debts. The Office of Management and Budget is predicting a $1.5 trillion budget deficit over the next year. That puts our total funding requirements on the order of $3.5 trillion over the next 12 months.

So… where will the money come from?

Total domestic savings in the U.S. are only around $600 billion annually. Even if we all put every penny of our savings into U.S. Treasury debt, we’re still going to come up nearly $3 trillion short. That’s an annual funding requirement equal to roughly 40% of GDP.

Where is the money going to come from? From our foreign creditors? Not according to Greenspan-Guidotti. And not according to the Indian or the Russian central bank, which have stopped buying Treasury bills and begun to buy enormous amounts of gold. The Indians bought 200 metric tonnes this month. Sources in Russia say the central bank there will double its gold reserves.

So where will the money come from? The printing press. The Federal Reserve has already monetized nearly $2 trillion worth of Treasury debt and mortgage debt. This weakens the value of the dollar and devalues our existing Treasury bonds. Sooner or later, our creditors will face a stark choice: Hold our bonds and continue to see the value diminish slowly, or try to escape to gold and see the value of their U.S. bonds plummet."

One thing they’re not going to do is buy more of our debt. Which central banks will abandon the dollar next? Brazil, Korea, and Chile. These are the three largest central banks that own the least amount of gold. None own even 1% of their total reserves in gold.

Coincidentally, the New York Times repeated our warnings - nearly word for word - in its paper today. (They didn’t mention Greenspan-Guidotti, however… It’s a real secret of international speculators.)
